What Is Play On Con?
The LEAGUE OF FANDOM AND GAMING (LFG) proudly presents PLAY ON CON (POC), an affordable 4-day science fiction fan convention dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and building a real sense of community with gaming, entertainment, parties, and related events year-round.
What kind of gaming can you wallow in?
We have scheduled these events so far and more to come:
- Collectible Card Games: AL State Munchkin Championship, Magic the Gathering tournaments, and more
- Board Games: Dominion, Red Dragon Inn, Settlers, Puerto Rico, St. Petersburg, Carcassonne, Risk Godstorm, Blue Moon City, Dust, Tide of Iron, Axis and Allies (2004), and more
- Live Action Role Playing: One World by Night LARP and Nero Demo
- Role Playing Games: RPGA Dungeons & Dragons, Shaintar Legends Unleashed, Fading Suns, D20 Modern, and more.
- Miniatures: Crimson Castle is bringing us Privateer Press and Games Workshops, Catalyst Commandos will be running Battle Tech, and we've added Dream Pod 9's Heavy Gear
PLAY ON CON LIVING FORGOTTEN REALMS THEME: Paragon-Only-Con!
That's right! The entire weekend's Living Forgotten Realms will focus on 11-14, and a few 14-17 modules as they are available. How many of you have characters you leveled up at conventions or online and lack a group of paragon adventurers to travel with? Bring them to PARAGON-ONLY-CON!
We had originally scheduled a P2 version of ADCP1-1, but this was an error. 2 Slots of ADCP1-1 at P1 will be run. Game slots are now correct. -Mea Culpa, Steve.
What if I don't HAVE a paragon PC! Am I out of luck?
We have also decided to offer 8 rounds IN SEQUENCE of the Embers of Dawn Mini-campaign modules for level 1-4! We'll have FAST-PLAY characters with strong build choices available for new players. You don't have to be a complete newbie to play the Mini-Campaign, anyone can decide to start a new PC right here at Play-On-Con!
