EventOverview
Weekend in Narfell 2009 will take place in Baldy Hall at the North Campus of the University of Buffalo on November 6-8, 2009. Come for a weekend full of unique Living Forgotten Realms play!

The centerpiece of Weekend in Narfell will be this year's Weekend in the Realm adventure "The Icy Queen's Crossing." The adventure's author, Shawn Merwin, will be attending and running the adventure all weekend. This LFR adventure is only playable on this weekend, so make sure you sign up early to get your Forgotten Realms game on!

Even more exciting, we will be offering, in the Saturday evening slot, a unique event: "Fell Deeds in Narfell." A group of experienced LFR writers and DMs will be creating unique My Realms adventures that take place immediately after the action of "The Icy Queen's Crossing." The story of each adventure will be tied together, letting the result of each table create a unique story of what happens to the adventurers after their quests and heroics in the far-off realm of the Nar.

In addition to those two events, we will also be offering an array of LFR adventures, including SPEC1-2 Shades of the Zhentarim (2 rounds), ADCP1-1 Jungle Hunt, CORM1-1 The Black Knight of Arabel, CORM1-2 The Gangs of Wheloon, WATE1-1 Heirloom, and WATE1-2 Dark Secrets of Shadowdown, and MINI1-1 Stirring the Embers.

If you are new to D&D 4e or to Living Forgotten Realms, we will hold character creation seminars and special games for beginners.

Attendees will have the chance to win prizes: miniatures, player reward cards, dungeon tiles, and even books! Although admission is free, we will ask for a contribution of $1 per game played to cover the costs of printing and other costs.
