Toys N Things is hosting our first 40k 555 Tournament.
DATE: Saturday February 13th 2010.

* Entry fee is $10 and may be paid either the day of the event when you submit your list.
* Tournament starts at 11:00 AM so please arrive around 10:30 AM
* Please submit all army lists to Aldmhac@comcast.net no later than February 6th
* Number of winners and prize support will be determined by the number of players. There will be at least a first place winner and prizes for best painted and most sportsmanlike player.
40K 555 Rules
Your army may not exceed 555 points.
The Standard Force Organization Chart is modified as follows:
0 -1HQ, +1Troops, 0-1 Fast Attack, 0-1 Elite, 0-1 Heavy Support.
Further Restrictions:
1. You may only spend 30 points on wargear (or spells or biomorphs) for each of your character models.
2. You may only spend 30 points on weapons for each of your character models.
3. No models can have better than a 3+ armor save.
4. No models can have more than 2 wounds.
5. No Special/Named/Unique Characters.
6. No vehicles with a total Armor Value greater than 33. This is calculated by adding the Front, Side and Rear armor (only count the Side once).
7. No Allies other than Daemon Hunters and Witch Hunters.
8. No Forge World or Opponent’s Permission Only rules.
Exceptions:
1. If a player’s army has two units of Troops that cost more than 227 points combined (excluding transports purchased for these units) they can ignore ONE of the above restrictions for ONE model:
* can have a 2+ armor save.
* can have three wounds.
* can take 50 points of wargear with no limits for weapons
* You may have one vehicle whose Armor Value exceeds 33.
2. Necrons can take a Necron Lord.
3. Tyranids can only take a Hive Tyrant without biomorphs, and in order to take him must meet the terms in Exception 1, above. (according to previous codex)
General rules: The 555 tournament will be using the Warhammer 40,000, 5th Edition rulebook. You will need to bring a measuring device, dice, templates, your Codex, and TWO copies of your army list with you. |
